Catering
Meals are an integral part of Millbridge’s daily routine and the Catering Manager, in concert with the Home’s Manager, create a wide range of balanced and nutritious dishes. These are prepared daily using the freshest products available and consideration is always given to individual likes, dislikes, dietary and cultural requirements. Options are always available and snacks provided to “bridge the gap” between meals.
Themed “meal” events during Christmas, Easter, the Queen’s Birthday, Burn’s Night and other notable calendar days such as St. Davids, St. Patrick’s and Valentine’s Day.
The Home welcomes visiting next-of-kin to enjoy a meal with their “loved one”. Weather permitting, and to take full advantage of Millbridge’s expansive surroundings, picnics and BBQ’s are also a feature of the meal-themed activities.
Daily Activities
Our activities coordinators ensure there is always something enjoyable and stimulating to do – everything from sing-a-longs and arts and crafts to reminiscence sessions. There is something different everyday with plenty of opportunity to pursue personal interests and hobbies.
The home will be introducing external visits for those able to enjoy a trip to some of West Norfolk’s famous places of interest (see section on “Places of Local Interest”)
In order to plan visits, events are always uploaded on a monthly basis.
