Millbridge in Heacham Norfolk has significant opportunities for currently registered nurses who seek to work in a care home environment.

The village of Heacham is one of the largest villages in the United Kingdom and is situated 2 miles South of Hunstanton and 14 miles from the Western Norfolk hub of Kings Lynn.

The home is serviced by a regular bus route and both staff and visitors make use of this form of transport .

Further training and development can be accessed and, where appropriate, co-funded.

Rotas are based on 08h00 to 20h00 and 20h00 to 08h00hours and there are curretnly one vacancy on the both day and night shift.

Millbridge offers re-location packages and assistance in obtaining accommodation close to the home for those coming from further afield.

As a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Millbridge Care Home, your remit will cover all of the physical, psychological and social needs of the home’s residents and patients.

You will be instrumental in creating a safe and supportive environment for the residents in addition to providing guidance and mentorship for the more junior members of the care team.

Dependent on prior experience your daily routine will include the medication administration and management, care planning and interacting with and supporting the relationships with other external healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

You should have a current NMC registration and experience in careplanning and risk assessments in addition to an understanding of DoL’s and the CQC regulatory frameworks, including safeguarding.
